Alex at ScooterGallery told me that there are mod´s that can be done to the Velux to increase the HP from 8 to 9 HP. It involves a carb and exhaust modification I believe. THey will do it for $700.00. Hardly seems worth it for 1 HP.

My feeling is that if you want HP, get a big bike. I am actually considering downgrading down froma 1300 CC Honda to a Velux, so if you know anyone seeking HP, have them give me a call. ;-)

I want the Velux purely for the practacality. Kinda done with big criusing & wnat a hi mileage commuting vehicle that I can ride most of the year.
