NINJA 250 CARBURETION QUESTIONS |

2004 NINJA 250: 1900 miles, 1300 in the last 8 months (since I got the bike). Questions: 1. Low speed perf is improving, but there is a serious stumble around 6000 rpm. I assume this is a carb adjustment issue. I need a procedure to follow to adjust the carbs. Anyone know how to do this? 2. I am getting around 45 miles per gallon. Is this normal? 3. 2 weeks ago, it suddenly ran rough for about a minute, then stalled when I came to a stop, and would not restart. Would crank, but no sign of life, not even a pop. For a few days, no change. 4 days later, when I had time set aside to diagnose it, it started right up... so I never had a chance to find out what was wrong. Has anyone encountered a failure like this? If so, what was it? Thanks, Mike |
