Short review of an 01 SS. I like my Sherpa so much, I sold my KLR. No, the Sherpa is no powerhouse, but it makes up for it in light flickable manners. With six speeds, you can get down the road with traffic ok. I´m older and don´t want to wrestle a heavy bike when off road, especially when dropped. I wish it had a kick starter for back-up. I bought mine with the stock carb retired, now it has a TM33 instead. Seems to have solved whatever issues there were. Over 24,000 miles and going strong. Rock on.
