I had a test ride lately. Will buy it. Not to compare with a BMW, which is a real boring feeling (tested some too, even boxer), compared to the nice ultra-easy handling of the speedy. The SV650 (had a testride) is nice, but lacks performance and style. Only good thing (imho) is that twin sound. As soon as you hear the triple sound, you´ll forget about this sv650 standard bike. Can´t compare with the Shadow (chopper like?) but with the Triple, you have a sporty ride, which is front wheel oriented, but with no weight at the wrists, which is a good comfort. The bike is also easy on the wheelies, just pull the cable on 1. and 2. gear without clutch and it goes up. Short distance on the gas handle...prepare to make fine manipulations...130ps and more than 100nm! Man I love this bike, will safe for one (2006 speed triple). Torque rules!
