The Sprint has a posture according to it´s purpose. It´s near perfect. Many Yamaha FJR users switch to the ST...in Europe. The Speed Triple is probably the best naked bike ever, and more so in it´s 2005/2006 reincarnation. For passenger on the Speedy, you can buy longer footpegs in the retail (I asked a dealer). For 99% of the time, you want to ride that one single anyways! :)
A Speedy with pannies? Damn I think you don´t dig this bike hehe! You can apply tank bag and a rear-seat bag or some baggage-roll plus a rucksack. A naked/street fighter with pannies, how gay is that! Windshield on the triple, hahaa! Sorry, buy you a BMW or some japanese crap. I will buy the Speedy asap and even strip things away (and finetune things like braided cables/routing). Check the 2006 model, it has some improvements, like the braking problem solved...no get you a Beemer GS 1200, most sold (boring) bike in Germany.
