I also tried alot of things. When I checked the neutral switch it was intermittant with readings on a multimeter jumping around. I shorted the neutral switch wire to earth and it ran. That was yesturday. I was going to ride it home from work tonight and it was idiling, put my helmet on ready to go and it stalled agian. %!¤. Same again. Shorting the neutral wire to earth now has no effect. I checked a few more things got %!¤ off an got a taxi home. I will get back to it next week when I get back from Melbourne. I will not let it beat me. I am of the same opinion as John that the electronics are made tough with protection built in. I suspect that the fault lies in a poorly crimped wire or a dodgy switch or maybe a combination of the above. I have read of similar gremlins on other forums and I suspect that there is a common thread some where. Please drop me an email max@qctechnologies.com.au if you have some clues.
