after changing plugs & caps coil & pick up,i bit the bullet £380 for ignition control unit.10min fix but i would have thougth these things more reliable gill electronics didnt want to know, talk to triumph they said,i must have spoke to a work expierence boy he tried ever so hard to sell me a new battery.i have since been told of a racer pal of some after market ignition system @£150 am trying to find out more for next time,as i have lost faith in triumph reliability.p.s so if your rev counter packs in jion aa and start looking for ignition unit cheers john.
