Several years ago I had a 1985 CH250 and now due to old age I am back with a 1986 CH250. The original CH250 named the Koot Scoot II was a great touring machine. I lived at that time in Creston in the Kootenays of British Columbia, only 10 km/6 miles from the border with the USA. I did several long distance trips such as a 2500 kms trip around Montana and Idaho, then another 3.000 km around Oregon and Navada. (stories to follow if required). Anyway I am on the way down again at the 75 year ceremony. The big bikes are too heavy for me to lift when they go down. They also need to have a leg thrown over the,. My last bike was a Suzuki Burman 400, a step through motorcycle. It is not a scooter as many would have you belive, (top speed 160 km/h or 100 mhp). I look forward to being part of this group. This s now the Koot Scoot VI Colin |
