good luck with the spark plug but I have removed the carb many times its not too hard. Here is what I did without a kit which I would like to know where you ordered yours from. Removed the front pulley restrictor and the intake "snorkel"(rubber piece sticking out of air box). There is also a restriction in the exhaust but was completely replaced with a modified chambered pipe from a Yamaha dirtbike. I rejeted the carb with a 85 main jet and lightened the roller weights a total of 3 grams. The RPMĀ“s run up to around 9000 so it was slightly premixed with oil in the gas tank to ensure proper lubrication. |
