Hi! My husband and I won a Vespa ET2 from Target in 2003 and have "graduated" to needing more speed and we recently bought an 2004 Silver ET4 and 2005 Smoky Grey Granturismo 200L. They look good driving together, but since both have 2.5 gal fuel tanks we notice that the GT200 gets better mileage than the ET4. The ET2 gets the best miles per gallon, of course, but most of the roads we travel on we need to go over 45 mph. Also noticed speedometers of all the Vespas seem to show about 5 mph more than what speed you´re actually going, judging by one of us driving in a car behind when we drove them home separately. We will do tests at some point with a GPS to see actual speed. A member of a scooter riding club we´re in has a Vento Phantom 125cc he paid less than $2K for and gets 80 mpg on. Our Vespas are so much classier looking but sometimes I feel like a chump. My husband says we didn´t buy the Vespas to save on gas!
