| I cant remember if it is 50cc and under, or 49cc and under to be classified as a moped by the dmv. But I have heard of people licensing their pocket bikes (47cc) as mopeds just to be legal on the road. The RS 50 might not be a true 50cc because they usually round up the displacement. Like the GSXR600 is actually 599cc. If they are classified as a moped by the dmv that would be allot cooler than a regular nerdy moped (I laugh when ever I see someone on a moped especially grown men). An alternative to the higher priced Aprilia RS 50 would be the Yamaha YSR 50. I’m not an expert on the matter but it’s defiantly something to research. |
