| Hey, I´ve been looking into purchasing a new motorbike, either the Yamaha TZR 50, Derbi GPR 50 or the Aprilia RS 50. Reading over some of your posts, the yamaha would be the better choice. I do prefer its looks and all, but looking through most of the specs and all, the Aprilia RS only has a 12 mm carb. while the yamaha has a 16mm and the derbi a 14mm... I currently own a derbi senda offroad and can only do about 50 mph tops. Just wondering if you guys could explain why the derbi is soo slow compared to the others... and how the Aprilia manages to reach such high speeds on the small carburetor... I´m a beginner with this stuff... (I asked a garage about a Derbi GPR and they also said 50 mph tops derestricted.) |
