Currently going around Australia on a 2005 Cagiva Navigator, left Sydney a month ago, then Cooktown via bloomfield track, then across to Carpenteria via savannah hwy, Mt Isa and now in Alice, all good after 6500km , feels the fuel pump though could be a single point of failure that could leave me stranded for good, specially with all sorts of fuel quality in those Roadhouses in the North ?? Does anybody now if the Navigator fuel pump is a stock standard Suzuki 1000 job or did Cagiva used their own or some other Italian fuel pump ? Wouldn´t mind carrying a spare with me, easy enough to change on the road side . Your response or advise greatly appreciated JB |
