The throttle position sensor is advancing the engine too much since advancing timing at idle raises the idle.. Advancing the timing is done electronically. But if it is too far advanced by the throttle position sensor turned too far in the opening of the butterflies.; the idle hovers high. The timing should advance itself electronically around 2000 ram. . Play with that sensor mounted on the side of the carb right close to the frame. Use a super shallow torx to loosen it. Rotate into the direction the butterfly opens, advances the position the computer uses to ramp the timing at take off. You will need to turn the position sensor opposite the opening direction of the butterfly. Just a little bit though. There will be a sweet spot. The manual suggests measuring the voltage going through the sensor; but experimenting gets you a better feel as to how that sensor sets up the advance timing curve...
