Large reduction in bike sales 2004 so not many FZ6s sold so consequently not enough new owners with positive views to counter critisism by old type Fazer owners. FZ6 is in fact exactly what the old Fazer was in its day, a sports bike with a ´sensible´ riding position, it is also extremely fast once you get past 8k rpm
"jeckle and hyde" true. remains novice and user friendly below this. Alongside Hornets and Bandits etc the FZ6 is the looker, the go´er, needs service less frequent and yamaha will provide v reasonable insurance, lazy riders may find the lack of touque a little disapointing but active riders will love the sling shot, turbo type performance that will put sports bike to shame. Gripes, non adjustable front end, you cant have everything but you nearly do in the FZ6, excellent.
