| The most annoying fix I´ve heard from dealers is to get a louder set of pipes and I wont hear that noise.. well.. goto the BUB pipe site, click on Royal Star pipes then play the Quicktime video of the bike with their pipes installed.. at startup you clearly hear that Black & Decker hedge trimmer whine over the pipes... Hell, my brain hurts after riding with my friend and his damn BUB pipes! I´ve had my bike since Aug ´04 and have only 2400 miles on it.. but they are very hard miles.. I have fun with my bike and beat it like the family %&#!¤ child.. hard shifts and downshifts along with long high speed cruises.. but I do flush and change the oil and filter every 6 months and use synthetics... Now my hedge trimmer whine is almost gone.. Maybe some were right the the gears would break in.. but I´m happy that the issue seems resolved for my bike anyway... Eddie |
