I bought the Royal Star Tour Deluxe last month. I love the bike, great balance for a 797 pound bike. Great power, the 1293cc will excite you and passenger on take off. On the highway you couldn´t ask for a smoother ride. The whining/whistling noise, (I ´m sure you read about)is very annoying. I suggest calling the customer service number for Yamaha U.S.A. 800-962-7926. Express your concern about this problem. Rick Bidwell wrote, they replaced his Cutch Basket, which helped with the noise. My is louder now after 600 miles.My dealer said nothing could be done.I will be calling Yamaha.
