I own a brand new Tour Deluxe number 7 off the production line. Picked it up in early Aug and have put 6500 trouble free kms on it. It pulls off the line a little slow, but once the revs come up look out, you won´t believe the look on peoples faces when they pull away and 3 seconds later you go screaming by them. Out on the highway there are guys on sportsbikes that are doing 200 k and they stare at this monster of a bike that still has throttle to spare. It will also not take long to wear down the floorboard on the ramps. I dare anyone to find anything this size that is more exciting in third gear. "Unbelievable" On the low side it needs noisier less restrictive pipes and a cheaper set of chrome breather covers. My previous bike was a 2002 750 ACE that I was continuously looking for another gear on. On this one I rarely need to use fifth. Do yourself a favor if you ride alone in town, lose the backrest, back seat, the windshield and hand out napkins to the droolers. I´ve only met one person who didn´t like the speedo, I think his helmet was too tight. This is a great motorcycle!
