BMW Dakar versus KTM 640 Adventure

BMW Dakar versus KTM 640 Adventure

I have a BMW Dakar 2005 and I am seriously thinking about switching into the KTM 640 Adventure because I had some technical problems with the Dakar that made me hesitate about how reliable the bike is for offroad rallies. However, the BIKEZ.com’s rating shows the Dakar way ahead of the KTM 640 Adventure. Do you agree with the KTM´s rating? Do you think it will be worth the change? Any thoughts about how both bikes compare?... any comment will be greatly appreciated.
