I bought a 2003 F4i which is the same as the 2005. In my opinion it is a great starter bike. I had no riding experience whatsoever and now I´m over 2 years into riding and I feel very comfortable on the road. The F4i has PLENTY of power if that´s what your looking for, but it has a small bike feel to me and is fairly comfortable for around town commutes. I ride mine to work regularly 25 miles one way. I receiver lots of comments as well on it. A real head turner and performer. GREAT buy~
