Hey guys and girls, I am looking for a cruiser areound 6000 dollars that is all around a great bike. I was serious looking, and still am, at getting a new yamaha vstar 650. I have heard they have a tremendous lack of power at 70+mph though. The spirit 750 seems like it might work well on h-way though. I like the looks of the Shadow 600, but if im dumping over 6000 dollars i want to get something i like to ride. Just a few things about me that is a factor when shopping for bikes. I am 6´3" and weigh 140lbs. I will mostly be commuting around town and maybe doing some longer joy rides, but i do want a bike that i can ride for 300 miles and not wish i were dead. Its all mtn roads though, so i do not need an abundance of power. One major ? before i go test riding though, What is your opinion for a tall rider (6´3") on this bike, preferablly a spirit 750. will i get cramped or will my knees rack teh bars everytime i turn or is there foot peg extensions i will need to get. Please help me!! also does anyone know the mpg on a spirit 750 and its 0-60 times and top speed and 1/4 mile times?
