Now it´s almost two months since my last post on lowering. I did lower the bike 3 inches with the scootworks lowering kit and I did add the dished corbin seat. My vertically challenged wife is quite happy with the bike. It´s still a top heavy bike for her but she enjoys riding it. I do have a stock 05 seat (with 350 miles on it) I´d sell if any one needs one.
I did spend a hour and a half with a welder lowering the center stand and the side stand. Even though there are lowered side stands, I don´t think they are custom lowered, just stock lowered. So I´m pleased with the work that has been done
