Well, the windshield on the Nomad 1600 is ajustable up and down. It also has winglets to deflect air off your legs. I find it very comfortable to ride behind even in a cross wind. I´ve never riden a Royal Star or a Road Star but they look like a solid ride. My bike is getting around 30 miles to the gallon. I ride along at a good pace so I think I´m using more fuel than I should. Could possibly get 35 to 38 if I tried.
