01-Oct-05 JUst found this site today since I was looking up more info on the 2005 nomad. I got a 2004 Vulcan 1600 clasic last October and today I tested the 2005 naomd. It has all the same technology, engine and tank size as my clasic, but it handles a bit better because of the steering column angle differences. the nomad also feels smoother (less vibration and more quiet) on the road than the clasic. In North America the 1600 clasic has has different muffelers than in Australia that are noiser. Australia 1600 clasics have the same muffelers as the older 1500 vulcan. I am now tempted by the nomad. hope this helps |
