Tail pipe exhaust supports keep breaking

I have a 2004 FLHRSI road king custom. I was riding today and heard a big squeek in rear of bike. I found the supports that hold the exhaust one on each side and one under the fender were broke off. Nothing is holding the exhaust up now. This is the second time this has happened the first time it was only on the left side. The first time I thought someone had vandalized the bike by stepping on the pipes and I turned it into the insurance. I think this will be a costly repair has any other owner of a custom experenced this? Your feedback is desperately needed.
