Fluid changes

I own a 05 heritage and have gotten several different answers to fluid changes, oil,primary and transmission.
I use 20-50 lucas synthetic oil and change every 3000 miles.
My question is whats prefered for primary and tranny fluids and how often they should be changed? Its just turned to 7000 miles.
Thanks for any help.
