| Hi Warren, I am 24 years old and I am also a beginner to motorcycles. I recently purchased a 05´ HD sportster xl 883. I had never rode a motorcycle before, so I have been practicing riding arounfd my neighborhood. I love it and it´s very easy. The sportster is the way to go. It´s not a big bike and it handles nice. A great bike for beginners like us. Also I highly recommend you take the motorcycle safety course. I start it next week but I want to go about riding the safe way. I have to much invested in my life and my bike. Well I hope this was helpful. Take care and ride safe |
