I am a new rider (obviously) and Iam trying to get used to the factory mirrors which cover more area but makes it hard to judge the distance of vehicles behind you. When one has to make snap decisons on the freeway because a vehicle cuts you off, not being able to judge the distance at an instant on the lanes you must move into makes it scary as heck. Since most riders of XL883 are new riders or novice riders why doesn´t harley use regular mirrors and have the owners change them as they attain more experience? Don´t laugh, I´m new at this.( and yes I´ve replaced them.)
