Due to a recent health issue, I was unable to ride my Harley at all for 18mos. I switched out the battery and drained the old gas and put fresh premium into tank. The problem is that after warming the bike up for a while with the choke open, I attempt to close the choke, apply gas and it just shuts off. Have attempted several times, and am getting the same result. Is it possible that since I was unable to ride for so long, the fuel filter must also be replaced? Am dying to get back out there but can´t even get my Harley out of the garage. Please advise.
