Digital display went blank

Digital display went blank

Got on the bike this morning and turned the ignition on. The digital display was completely blank. Is it powered by the bikes internal battery or does it have its own power source? All the electrics (indicators/horn...etc) appear fine otherwise. Any help would be very much appreciated.
