You can start on the RS 250 if yuo like but personally I would have it restruicted for the first 6 months or 10.000 km that way it is run in and you can get used to the absolute big bike slaying nimbleness. Afterwards have it derestricted and have a trackday or 2. This way you´ll keep your license intact and stay in 1 piece for a while. The other way is to stay below 7000 revs at all times (nearly impossible) even in town I get sucked into racing as it is such a committed bike. If you are a complete beginner get the RS 125 almost as quick, slightly cheaper to run and much more secondhand spares around for that first initial drop. Whatever choice you´ll make it´ll be the bike of a lifetime. Two strokes rule Rule |
