This bike has SHOWA suspension right out of the box. Also, a well spread out, 4 speed gear box alows you to really use the increadible powerband to its max potential. Trust me, you will most likely never touch 4th gear on any race track, and rarely need 1st. So think of this bike as a Two Speed. Fast, and Very Fast. My last bike, a 98´ Yamaha YZ 125, had 6 speeds. But it only had about 28 HP. My (stock) RMZ has about 52 HP. And with an alluminum frame, this bike is almost as light as a 250 2 stroke. I HIGHLY Recommend the 05´ Suzuki RMZ 450 to any experienced riders. New riders... I hope you have Medical insurrence.
