Same complaint here. Unfortunately, no solution. Can´t understand the nickel-and-diming on the emblem. Watch out if you get the throw-over saddle bags, and probably the rigid mount ones too. That backrest mount moves the turn signals in 2-3 inches and the bags will press hard against them. The 2 little tie down loops leave a lot to be desired as well. I´m looking for some after-market ones. Windshield parts list, the itemized part, is accurate in that it shorts you 1/2 of one of the mount pairs. Oddly, the graphic parts list shows the proper number of parts, as do the installation instructions. Someone at Suzuki is dropping the ball on QC. Other than that, it´s a nice bike. |
