Why an S 83?

I´m looking for a new bike, and considering quite a range (S 83, HD 1200 R Roadster, even Ducati S2R 1000 and Honda Superhawk...).

I´ve admired the clean styling, light weight, and low maintenance requirements of the Suzuki S 83 ever since Suzuki cleaned up the styling and added the flat handle bar.

I like a torquey cruiser that handles well (lots of fast, curvy roads on my 24 mile commute).

Just wondering if the S 83 will satisfy my needs for commuting (good mileage, smoothness, handling, reliability). Also, does the Suzuki accessory windscreen work well? I don´t like buffeting...

Any comments as to why to get the Suzuki over others would be appreciated.
