I have the same problem that stated after 6000 miles. Are the lifters not Hydraulic ? There are not supposed to have any knocks. After the bike is completly warm this knocking noise goes away. I will try using 10w-40 oil next oil change insterad of 20w-50. Could thwe knock be the fuel injectors ? Someone told me that fuel injectors are noisy.
