I have the same problem and it is definately not the switch contacts or anything electrical. It sems that the cylinders get to a position where the starter cannot them them forward past top dead center. The only way out is a push start with the transmission in 5th gear. It happens to me infrequently but always at the most inconvenient time. Anybody have suggestions???
