I have experianced this as well with my C50. The clutch may need a proper adjustment every 3000,5000 miles. You could loosen the jam (circle nut) at the clutch lever and fine tune the cable, for you
the lever should have an approimate 1/64 to 1/32 inch gap although you could tighen the adjustment to \
