I left my key on and killed my battery. I charged it but couldnĀ“t get it to take enough of a charge. I bought a new battery and NOW when I connect the terminals it starts on its own. With the key out of the ignition, kill switch in the off position and the start button not pressed in it STILL starts up.. I am baffled. there is obviously a short somewhere. all of the fuses are ok. the starter solenoid has been tested and is ok. so, how am i getting juice to the starter with out the key turned on?
