My clucth is acting wierd.

My clucth is acting wierd.

I just bought a bike from a friend only 2250 miles. It was riding good for two days now my clucth isn´t working properly. When I start it I have the clucth all the way down and put it in first gear and it kinda jumps. When I stop and go I have to let the clucth go out all the way to go forward. Do I need a gear box? Transmission? Can somebody help me please.
