I have a ´96 one. They had a bigger carb back then. It´s stage 3 Stan Stephens tuned with an Arrow race pipe, homemade high flow air filter and Ngk BR9EV race spark plug. Run on Super Unleaded and Castrol TTS. Air screw 1&half turns out, 2 sizes up on main jet. It will absolutely murder a standard one.
