wanted to trade my beemer for a tagged XR650R, was offered an 04 SXC625 never thought about getting another KTM since my ´73 125GS - meaning I have no idea about modern KTMs and am grateful for any input if you did ride an XR-R or an XR-L as well as the SXC625, could you tell me how they compare, please? I do not look for a 100% off-road bike, there are better bikes out there, I want the ultimate dual-sport, the one that is fun on forestry service roads and can outrun ´busas in the twisties - if the rider let´s it, that is I am looking at 2-300 mile day trips, some on, some off road I do not mind working on my bike, but do not want to spend more time in the garage than riding - the CRF450 had to go so thank you much for any help deciding weather the SXC625 in general is for me, and for insight on SCX weak spots fiep |
