I once had a similar problem on my ´96 Pegaso, and it turned out to be a problem with the carb settings. It used to have very variable slow running - revs would changee considerably during a ride. In order to get it right I would sdjust it with the adjusting knob, and then one day it wouldn´t start. After a lot of fiddling my sun suggested changing the slow running adjustment and it started instantly. Doh! Since then the slow running has been fine....don´t know what has changed. I now find that my bike will start easily, but will misfire at anything other than idle, unless the headlights are set on full beam! What is that all about? But it is a fun bike, that´s for sure. |
