Overheating

I´ve just a 2nd hand Pegaso 650. It´s a ´96 model. The problem is the bike is very easy to overheat. After 100mile of crusing, the engine will become very hot and then turn off automatically. It´s there something wrong with the radiater, coolant or it´s normal for it to overheat frequently. Or does hot climate effects the bike because I live in Malaysia where it is hot all year round.
