Just got my new saddlebags for my first long trip & they´re touching exhaust pipe. Pegaso has this metal plates /protection mounted on pipes, so there´s no direct contact & saddlebags came with protective foam that goes on the side of the bag that touches the pipe. And the foam has this little square in different material, exactly on the spot that touches the pipe. So,everything looks ok, but I hear people saying there´s no way if you´re touching pipes. I worry if protective metal plates are enaugh? (for heat insulation) I don´t want to end up with burned saddlebags half way through -on my first tour
