Winter and the Bike

It´s winter in middle Virginia and I´ve started to ride the Majesty just when it´s 55 degrees or warmer, the pavements are dry and it hasn´t frozen in the hope of not hitting ice on a bridge or some similar thing. The bike sits in the garage and I´m wondering what others do with it. Do you put one of those little battery chargers with the pigtail on it on the battery and keep it topped off or put the bike on the center stand, the parking brake on and then run the bike once a week or so to keep the battery up?

What are your winter routines and when do you ride or not?

New in May to riding but love my Majesty.
