RE: Quality and gas octane/ethanol |

2500 miles and runs quietly and efficiently..even learned it has an agm battery which is pretty advanced. I am learning where all the fairing fasteners are and getting lots of respect for the bike. I get compliments on it all the time and am glad I bought it with gas here now pushing towards $3.00 a gallon. Instead of 87 octane, would putting 91 octane high test gas give it any special properties? With as little as it uses I was wondering if that would do anything positive for the bike or is just unnecessary. It runs perfectly on 87. Also, what about gas with ethanol in it? Can the bikes handle that if it becomes more available in the U.S.? Lance |
