I actually have the opposite problem and wouldn´t mind an inch or two taller seat to get my legs at a better angle since I´m 6´4" tall. I love the bike but after 30-45 minutes I usually stop and stretch my legs. A road bike might have pegs where I could stretch my legs a bit but this one has the fairing foot areas. No complaints mind you as I tried it in advance and think overall it is fabulous after 1400 miles. A couple neighbors, one a golf pro and one a former stock car racer, have big Harley´s and while they are louder and more powerful I suppose, the Majesty just keeps humming along at any speed I want to go and gets mucho betta mileage. I´m a happy camper. I have tried closed cell foam to sit on which does work but then you have to move it around when you get off. I might re upholster the seat raising it with an inch of closed cell foam for my own unique issues. Getting lower would cut the windage but then my knees are well above my hip line and that isn´t comfortable for me so it´s a compromise. The bike seems to have a sort of natural groove around 60 mph when I ride it which is a balance between my wide frame and it´s windage and the buffeting that higher speeds does to me. The bike handles all of it just fine..it´s just where I feel comfy. At 70 and 75 the wind doesn´t seem materially different than at 65 and I generally enjoy the 60 mph better. Lance |
