Which one to wait for?

I am looking to upgrade from my Yamaha Vino 125. [I waited 5 months for the 125] There are three scooters in the running 1) Yamaha Majesty 2)Piaggio X9 evolution 500 3)Kymco Xciting 500, due so they say "early 2005".
The very limited dealership network in NW Washington stategives me problems with the Piaggio, although it appears to be of very high quality. The Yamaha would be the safe choice.
However, the Kymco is VERY attractive. Although there is no price yet, I expect it to be competitive with the others $5500 - $6000.
My real question is: What is the level of quality for the Kymco, they tout a 2 year warranty. There is a dealer in my area [good], but reliability is VERY important to me. My Yamaha has been very reliable, but the wait may be as long or longer for the Yamaha. Has anyone done a comparrison on these?
