Your expereince with the Vino 125 is about the same as mine. I am 57 - 210 pounds - six feet. I have had my 2005 Vino 125 up to 55 - and am not comfortable there. I prefer 35 to 40. I keep up with city traffic just fine.Tallhassee is a campus town and parking is a premium - but the scooter is great for that because campus has special spots for scooters that are perfect and always open. My wife likes to ride it too - her office on campus is just 2 miles from home - and it is and easy drive through tree-lined neighborhood streets. We can ride the scooter all year here - but I only have put 600 miles on it in 7 months. As you said the front disk brake is very strong. But the power is plenty for me. Wife likes the maroon color - FSU color. There is a dealer about 3 blocks away - I bought a turn signal and brake light there - relatively cheaply. So my report is that it has been excellent for the first 6 months. Only negative is that I thought $174 for the first sixmonth tuneup was excessive. I plan to buy the service manual and do it myself now. Harry@everhart. com
