Hello, i owned this bike for 2 years until last summer when I upgraded to a 1700cc Midnight Silverado. I loved the 650 but I´m much fonder of the Midnight Silverado. The vstar custom was fun but after 1 year did´nt have enough power. the Midnight Silverado has plenty of power and handles great on highways at high speeds. If you intend to cruise 50 miles to work I would check into something bigger. The Midnight Silverado would be perfect for the job.
